She loves theatre because it is a fun place where everyone has the same interest and you can make friends. She feels competing is better than winning because there is no suspense if you always win.

is 24 and has been in 24 shows, six with TAFE. His talents include acting, singing, and making people laugh. He feels that competing is more important than winning because you can still have fun and learn whether you win or lose. Theatre is team art because it takes everyone involved to make magic.

is 14 and has done 7 shows, six of them with TAFE. She says theatre is a place to express a special kind of art, and that competing is more important than winning because taking part in something gives you much more than just a prize. If she could be any other character she would be Wanda Voltaire because Wanda loves to think and imagine.

is 12 and doing his third show with TAFE. He says theatre is a way to have fun and make friends. He feels competing is more important than winning because there is no point to winning if you are not having fun. If he could be any other character it would be Franco Frasolli because his accent and grammar are hilarious.

is appearing in his first show with TAFE, although he has been doing theatre for close to forty years. His talents include singing, dancing, and playing guitar and drums. He understands theatre as a team art that involves not only actors but designers, directors, managers, and audience. If he could be any character other than his own it would be Opal because she steals the show!

is 11 and this is her first show. She has many talents including dancing, singing, drawing, and playing the ukulele, cello, and clarinet. She feels that competing is more important than winning because you can have fun and it doesn’t really matter if you win. For her, theatre is fun and entertainment for everyone to enjoy.

is 10 and has done 9 shows, four of them with TAFE. She loves theatre because it gives her the chance to be somebody else for a little while. Her talents include acting and singing. She thinks winning is a good thing because it can make you feel like you are good at something.

She thinks competing is more important than winning because just by participating you get the chance to do something that you wouldn’t get to do every day.

is 10 and has been in four shows with TAFE. She feels that theatre is a team art because you need all sorts of people to do all the jobs, and even the actors have to be ready to cover for each other when needed. If she could play any other part she would be Olivia because her act is funny and she could practice ventriloquism.

is 14 and has been in 12 shows, seven of them with TAFE. She has many talents including acting, singing, and playing the guitar. She feels that competing is great if you are having fun, but if you are not, then winning is better because you are being rewarded for your work.

She feels that competing is more important than winning because the journey is more important than the destination. Her favorite character to play is her own, because she loves Chetana!

has done many theatre productions with TAFE and is enjoying stage managing this one. She feels that theatre is a wonderful, welcoming community that can and should be fun for everyone. She says that competing is more important than winning because you can learn and enjoy so much whether you win or lose. If she were playing a character in this show it would be Bernie because she can relate to him!
